2011-2012 Reflectios Project
Each year, schools all over the US participate in the PTA Sponsored Reflections Project. This year the theme was "Diversity Is...". We are so excited that Tyler received an Award of Excellence (basically 2nd place) for all of Fairfax County (approximately 140 elementary schools competed!) We are so very proud of him as he came up with the idea and took the photograph with my old camera... all by himself! When I asked him what Diversity meant to him, I included his reply with the photograph:
